As I read one of these articles, ( the ones from Facebook that you tend to browse on when your on your feed) I think it was http://elitedaily.com/life/culture/move-city-dont-know-soul/615040/.

My day :

Seriously? After wandering from train station to train station aimlessly for 3 hours is not the way I planned my day would go.

Clearly the situation I got myself into was purely the fact that I am unprepared, not by choice or because I’m lazy , those are just the consequence of events that my life fell into.

For one, Sunday fun day here is more like stay-at-home Sunday… Where did all the Londoners go? Every street was overpopulated yesterday?

Starbucks, Prêt and other coffee shops where closed at every turn! which leads me to my second “excuse” as off why I got lost

I got a sim card for my phone a couple days ago and it says it is not a valid sim card? “( Are you sure sir because i paid for this)”
I went to the phone company but they told me to try leaving the sim card in for a couple of hours, but honestly I knew that it was not going to work.

Why ? Because when I went to my carrier ( Metro piece of doodoo) he warned me, many times that their unlocked phones had these problems abroad.

So long story short I should have had a back up plan, but I didn’t hence this whole situation could’ve been avoided if I had bought or brought a different phone

And I should have mapped various routes, when I could’ve back at home especially since I knew I was going to have no internet service, but off course I relied on “offline” instructions on city mapper, which it erased when It thought I was done with it.

My mom always said I thought I was superwoman. Which means that I don’t want to rely on anyone for help, which I don’t but at times like these I know it could’ve been avoided or made easier if I would just ask for help more often.

Any who, off course as the story of my life goes, I eventually figured out that I could’ve easily took one tube to my internship site instead of taking a underground tour of London.

DISCLAIMER : First time blogger ( if you couldn’t tell ) but there is a first time for everything 🙂

[48

post-462","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-capa
["GET
