This sentence appeared on the train station board. I hoped it meant the train was late and not cancelled or a platform change.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t pack enough clothes to last four weeks without doing laundry. Our professor informed us there is a specific word for washing clothes<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t have a key to my front door, but other people complained about having strange locks. The bike I borrowed needed a key so I had to ask for that. If I ever come for vacation, I\u2019d need this for hotel rooms.<\/p>\n

This came up in conversation with my host mom and it took her using a different synonym for me to understand what she was asking.<\/p>\n
