We’ve been talking about feelings and emotions in my class this past week, and I found this helpful because thus far I’ve only known how to express when I like or don’t like something. That being said, here are some of the new words I’ve learned in order to express myself:<\/p>\n
Die Wut: Fury<\/p>\n
I came across this word in our text book. I want to know it because I have a short temper and can put it to good use.<\/p>\n
Die Angst: Fear<\/p>\n
I found this word in my text book as well. I’m also afraid of a lot of things, specifically cockroaches.<\/p>\n
Die Liebe: Love<\/p>\n
I found this word in my book. I’ve known it for awhile but I wasn’t sure of how to spell it or the article that goes with it.<\/p>\n
Die Freude: Joy<\/p>\n
I found this in my book. I knew how to say that things make me happy, but I thought that this was a good way to expand my vocabulary.<\/p>\n
Der Zorn: Wrath<\/p>\n
This word was in my textbook. I don’t think I’d ever actually use it, but it definitely sounds cool.<\/p>\n
Die Scham: Shame<\/p>\n
Die Eifersucht: Jealousy<\/p>\n
Die Zufriedenheit: Satisfaction<\/p>\n
Mitleiden: To pity<\/p>\n
