I felt extremely comfortable getting around Madrid and traveling on the Ave train. I felt like I saw a lot, explored random places and got to know my host family, classmates and other people in the program. I was ready to leave to see family and friends but I also fell in love with Spain. I will miss the culture, music, language and food but I plan on bringing as much of it as I can back home. I learned how to make \u201cTortilla de Patatas\u201d and Paella. I bought a Spanish tapas cookbook. Even if don\u2019t understand all of the words, I still have a Spanish music playlist on my phone. It\u2019s good to be home but I plan on going back to Spain!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My last half of the trip was bittersweet.
