The first weekend we made our way to the World\u2019s Steepest Road (Baldwin Street) to watch an event where Cadbury &#8211; the chocolate brand &#8211; releases 25,000 Jaffa balls down a hill (3 times!!) and sees which ball makes it down first. The winner gets over 2,000 dollars in prizes! I didn\u2019t get to get a raffle ticket because they were already sold out\u2026 A couple of us took one of the Jaffa\u2019s that rolled to the side and ate it!! It was a chocolate orange flavor!! So good. After that we went to the Otago peninsula and went on a 3 hour hike called harbor cone. We had to go through farmland FILLED with sheep, until we got to such a steep hill &#8211; I actually climbed it! The views were incredible &#8211; the ocean on one side and the bay on the other. It\u2019s so crazy that this is literally a 40 minute bus ride from where we live!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The second weekend was such bad weather\u2026 It was raining all weekend\u2026 It even snowed (they were just flurries) one day. Needless to say, we stayed inside most of the weekend. Such a shame, but it was nice to be able to relax for once.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">I can\u2019t believe It\u2019s August already, I only have 3 and half months left in this insane place!! Gotta make the most of it &#8211; next big trip &#8211; Queenstown!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last 2 weeks have been a blur!
