I\u2019ve booked a one-way ticket. With no idea when I\u2019ll see them again, goodbyes where awfully awkward when I walked away questionably saying \u201csee you when I see you\u2026?\u201d It\u2019s a funny feeling these mix of emotions that I\u2019m experiencing. When people ask me how I\u2019m feeling, my jumbled, inaudible response is surprisingly an accurate description of how confused I am. I\u2019m anxious, excited, shocked\u2026 the list could go on. The strangest thing is not knowing what to expect when I get there. It could be oddly similar to freshman year or an entirely new experience. I\u2019m hoping for the latter. Superficial yet important reservations such as \u201cam I going to make friends\u201d, \u201cis my German good enough\u201d and \u201cwill my roommates be normal\u201d are all running through my head. Thank goodness I\u2019ll have Caitlin Schmit. And she\u2019s pretty cool. So I\u2019ll think I\u2019ll do fine. Well, I\u2019m excited to be doing these blog posts as a way to write down my experience abroad.
