I was born and raised in a small town in Florida. Immediately after high school I joined the Marines during which time I traveled through most of the U.S. as well as other countries such as the Philippines and Japan. Japan is absolutely wonderful! It’s also where my dad was born (Fukuoka specifically). I love every country I’ve been to–the Philippines, Japan, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and soon China.<\/p>\n
I’m not new to visiting other parts of the world but this will be my first time in China. I have high expectations for this four month trip both academically and personally. I would like to explore as much of China and nearby countries as possible, establish strong friendships, as well as dramatically improve my Chinese. I’m always excited to experience a foreign land and culture. Once I arrive, I’ll update this every couple weeks or so with photos and all!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Mine too!
