I have heard all about great spots in London from other friends who have studied in the city, but before I can do that I still have to pack and prepare. So far it seems I have bought every piece of clothing possible that I could need in London, but I am sure I will buy even more while I am there &#8211; I&#8217;ll keep you updated on the shopping! Talking about packing I don&#8217;t even have a suitcase I can use yet &#8211; oops!<\/p>\n<p>As part of this blog requirement, I wrote an email to future me which I will receive on Nov 1 (a little over halfway through the program). I was going to copy and paste my goals and expectations here, but of course present me was too eager to send it to future me and I won&#8217;t be able to see it until Nov 1. So here&#8217;s the shortened version:<\/p>\n<p>I hope that&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>my flat isn&#8217;t too small<\/li>\n<li>I still love my roommates (4 of my sorority sisters)<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t go crazy\/drive my roommates crazy because I like to live in a very clean and sterile way<\/li>\n<li>that I make lots of new friends with other students and with locals<\/li>\n<li>I do well at my internship and in classes<\/li>\n<li>I travel and explore a lot!<\/li>\n<li>my internship is exciting and fun! I briefly interned on Capitol Hill in DC in high school, and I was very awkward and I couldn&#8217;t keep up with what was going on. Now that I am older, this one should be better.<\/li>\n<li>I am eating good food!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So that&#8217;s about it for now. In 2 weeks, the time of my next blog, I will be in London going to classes and working in Parliament.
