I spent my summer in Orlando and it was quite relaxing, hanging out with friends and family, but now I am ready for my semester in Spain. Though I have travelled outside the United States twice, once to New Zealand and England, this will be my first time living in another country. A couple of my friends from Rollins had attended the University of Oviedo last Fall, and they both enjoyed their semesters.<\/p>\n<p>Two goals of mine are to become fluent in Spanish and to travel as much as possible. I have always wanted to become fluent in a language because it is a useful skill. I chose Spanish because it would be the best language to learn considering I am from Florida and have a large Latino population. When I told my friends and family that I was studying abroad in Spain, they all told me one thing and that is to travel and visit other countries.
