The day I have been anxiously waiting for is finally here. After a much-needed Summer vacation, I will embark on a new semester in a whole new way. My dream of living in London is finally coming true and although it’s nerve wracking to leave my family, boyfriend, and friends behind as I learn to do things on my own, I feel more than blessed for this experience I’m about to have.<\/p>\n
I have set up my goals and expectations for this trip and are more than focused on accomplishing everything in my trip. With this experience, I hope to become more mature and independent as I survive without my parents’ guiding hand for the first time ever. I also hope to become better at what I want to do in my future by taking full advantage of this new university and my internship opportunity. Finally, I hope to gain a better understanding of the world around me by living in a city rich in diversity and culture. With all these expectations in mind, I set off to better myself and to make the best out of this enormous opportunity.<\/p>\n
