I have been waiting to get to London since the day my friends and I hit send on our CAPA study abroad applications. Now that I am here and all settled into my cozy little flat and the jet lag has worn off its time to explore. I have nothing bad to say about the Shepard’s Bush area (where I will be living for the next few months). I can’t say that I have had any bad run ins with “culture shock” yet because I am still in the excitement and adventuresome part of the study abroad journey. For some reason I don’t feel like I’ll be the person to have any problems with culture shock because I love experiencing new things and going to different places and learning about different cultures. I have always loved not just learning about different cultures but actually experiencing them first hand. It has always been something that has intrigued me. So far I feel like London is such a big city that it will take a while to experience it but I want to try and experience it all during my time over here.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Well the countdown is finally over.
