The fanny pack is one of man’s greatest invention! Not only is it a convenient means to carry stuff, but it’s also super trendy! Amiright?!

Anyways, if you’re an avid explorer and struggle to deal with bulging pockets full of the modern day necessities (cell phone, wallet, keys, phone charger & battery pack, passport, etc.), you need a fanny! My fanny and I have now been together for 2 weeks and these past two weeks have been even more easy & breezy than covergirl. This relationship started when I was packing for my 3 day trip to Xi’an and knew that I couldn’t survive spending another day exploring and being super uncomfortable. Luckily, I remembered seeing fanny packs for sale in a book store down the road for only 25 RMB, which is about $3.75 USD. I can confidently say that it was hands down the best $3.75 I’ve yet to spend!

From strolling through the extremely crowded Terracotta Warriors Museum to hustling for a good meal in the Night Market, my fanny was there and helping a brother out. I now even use my fanny for casual outings to shopping centers and quick runs for street food. 10/10 recommend purchasing one!

Quick note: Xi’an is an amazing city! It’s such a historic and beautiful city located in the center of China! It’s the perfect mix of urban and rural! On our 3day trip I:
•Completed a 13 km bike ride on the City Wall
•Ate a 14-course dumpling dinner
•Visited the Terracotta Warriors Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Forest of Stone Steles Museum, Shaanxi History Museum, and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda
•Had the best food in the Muslim Quarter
•Took a shot of Baijiu (Chinese Rice Wine) and then smashed the serving dish at the Night Market
•And had the honor of meeting Paul, the best tour guide on this planet

***In case you’re in China and searching for a fanny of your own, the Chinese translation is 范妮包 (fàn nī bāo)!!
