{"id":5809,"date":"2016-09-30T05:24:03","date_gmt":"2016-09-30T09:24:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/social.rollins.edu\/wpsites\/letters\/?p=5809"},"modified":"2019-07-18T16:18:55","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T16:18:55","slug":"oviedoooo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/2016\/09\/30\/oviedoooo\/","title":{"rendered":"Oviedoooo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_3197-300x225.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-16174 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_3197-300x225-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It has been almost a month abroad, and I have managed to see Madrid, London, Gij\u00f3n, and Cudillero. In Cudillero, there is a beach that is considered one of the best in Spain, and when you go there, you understand why. After driving through small towns for awhile, you eventually a huge cliff that overlooks the Atlantic ocean. The water was freezing, but the time spent driving there and walking to water was worth it. During that time, Oviedo had a ten day long festival for San Mateo. This crowded the streets and created a never ending night life!<\/p>\n<p>London was an awesome experience. The weekend we went, it was a bigger soccer weekend, so everywhere you went there was a match on the television. We went to a couple museums, saw Big Ben, the London eye, and of course ate bangers and mash and fish and chips. I also happened to meet a group of students that are studying abroad in Scotland. One of the people is friends with someone I went to high school with! It&#8217;s such a small world.<\/p>\n<p>Time is flying by, but there is still so much time. This weekend, I will be in Barcelona for a long weekend with a couple of friends!
