It’s honestly been a crazy ride, but on the bright side, I’ll be home cuddling my dog in 55 days. Yes, I’ve already started a countdown. I’ll only be home for about two weeks, but it will be nice to be home for the holidays and to catch up with everyone. After that, I’ll be coming back to Germany for my finals and then hopefully start a six-month internship in February or March.<\/p>\n
So far internship hunting has been slightly overwhelming. Most of what I see requires German to be your native language or for you to be fluent in it. While my German is getting better, it’s not at a fluent level yet. I did find one really exciting internship opening, though. It’s with a chocolate company called Ritter-Sport. Who doesn’t love chocolate, right? It’s about thirty to forty minutes away from where I’m currently living too. Their German language requirements are a bit more relaxed, and I would also be able to use my English and Spanish as well. I plan on applying this weekend, and if I get the position, I’ll be working in their international sales division, which I find pretty interesting actually. Fingers crossed I get the position!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
I’ve officially been in Germany for two months this week!
