Helloooo!!<\/p>\n
So last week was not all that interesting except for the fact that I took a daytrip to Paris! Yeah, that’s right… I went there for only a couple hours with one friend that I met from Minessotta Uni!<\/p>\n
Note for those who are planning on doing a semester abroad: MAKE FRIENDS! The people who go abroad come with a similar mindset and they also want to make as many connections as possible!<\/p>\n
So yeah! I wanted to go to Paris but since it is not my favorite city I did not want to spend an entire weekend there so I just took the train (which I missed and had to pay a fee to get on the next train) and we went to see the Eiffel tower, the Louvre and other nice iconic sites in the city. I also got to practice my french but I got discouraged when the Parisians got mad at me for trying and mispronouncing words.<\/p>\n
While being in London, pleeeeeeease try to go places! London is such a nice place but it’s location also allows you to go anywhere in Europe!<\/p>\n
Also! Just an update on my really fun internship: I am now working by the London’s Eye in a really cool and big restaurant where I am making a lot of connections with people who are in the same career path as me and I know I’ll contact those people in the future.<\/p>\n
That was basically the coolest part of my week.. As finals start to put pressure on students, I am trying not to loose my cool and avoid drinking 6 cups of coffee a day…. I will let you know if I survive.<\/p>\n
