I could not be more grateful for every moment in my life. Only two more weeks in Northern Germany where 0 degrees Celsius is starting to feel normal! Although I am itching to go back to sunshine state Florida, I am actually very sad I am leaving Germany. The weather is 20 degrees colder than Florida but I definitely feel like I am getting used to the cold. This country is actually really cool and although it is not very touristic I definitely love the lifestyle. This is not Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, or Madrid but it definitely starting to feel like home. Cities I could see myself living in are Berlin and Hamburg. Berlin stole my heart since day one, while Hamburg is such a big city I want to become a businesswoman and work downtown and shop on Neuer Wall. Sad to say I did not get the opportunity to visit southern Germany but one day I will find the Alps and the great cities of Frankfurt, Köln, Dresden and München. Luckily, I found a really cheap flight to Rome next week where I will be visit all the Rollins students before they leave Europe! Never thought I would be going to Italy but here I am. Life is full of unexpected adventures. 2016 and every year beforehand has been amazing and I am excited to see what the rest of the year holds for me.

Bis später,

Ana Rivas

Hallo!
