I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by. I feel like just yesterday I was arriving here, and now I feel like it is my home. I have made so many great friends here, and have seen so many cool places. The study abroad experience is something I will never forget. I am so grateful for everything I have been able to do here. I never thought I would get here and feel so attached to the country. The language, the people, and all of the sights are something I will never forget. I cannot wait to come back to Europe and check out some of the places that I have not been to. I’m eager to see how I will feel once I return home. I feel like it is going to be so much different, especially because I am now so used to the culture and customs here, and almost forget what it is like to be in the US. I’m excited that it will be Christmas once I get home, so there is something to look forward to rather than dreading the return. At some moments I am excited to leave, and then I think about how much I am going to miss the amazing food and people that surround me here. Overall, this experience has been a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so happy I decided to come abroad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Well, tonight is my last night in Rome!
