I can’t believe it. Finally I am back on U.S. soil and while it’s great to be home I truly do miss being abroad in London and with all of my new friends that I made throughout my time abroad. The plane ride home was just under 10 hours long. It was so boring but the second we touched ground it was like as if I never left everything that I remembered Home being was the same. My parents were waiting for me right at the exit of the airport. Seeing them again made my heart happy. And right when I saw them we instantly were talking about all the places I went and people I met. Meanwhile I was exhausted from the 9 and a half hour flight I still managed to talk the whole car ride home. It was weird being in a car and driving on the “normal” side of the road and it was also really weird driving a car for the first time in 3 months but it came back to me instantly. I also haven’t really had anytime to have any culture shock of being him hit me. Because I was really only home for one day and we drove 8 hours to veto beach Florida to spend the holidays so I haven’t really been able to live in reality yet but that’ll hit me soon enough I am sure. But all in all it’s good to be home!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
And just like that my studying abroad experience is over. I can’t believe it.
