Besides the obvious jet lag and adjusting to being back in a different time zone, I haven’t struggled with being home at all. I went back to my normal diet and normal routine almost immediately, and it was very nice coming home to my family and dogs. I did miss English, that was a very big thing for me. I noticed that I lost a lot of my English vocabulary while studying Spanish so I am glad to start getting that back. I did miss all my usual snacks and foods, so adjusting back to my diet was extremely easy. Also, I live in Florida and in Spain is was cold and rainy everyday, so i did not have trouble adjusting to the weather. I am very happy to be home, but that does not mean I do not miss all the traveling that came with studying abroad. Since studying abroad, It’s shown me how much is truly out there and how much there is still to see. Although I may be home, I definitely intend on going back to Europe every soon. Traveling has been such a great experience and being immersed into different culture was a lot of fun. For now I am content to come back to Rollins and see all my friends again, but i can’t wait to see what else is out there.

So I have been home for a little over a week now and I can say I haven’t had that hard of a time adjusting.
