{"id":7671,"date":"2017-03-20T17:02:41","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T21:02:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/social.rollins.edu\/wpsites\/letters\/?p=7671"},"modified":"2019-07-17T14:46:49","modified_gmt":"2019-07-17T14:46:49","slug":"paddys-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/letters\/2017\/03\/20\/paddys-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"Paddy&#8217;s Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I never thought that I would be able to spend St. Paddy&#8217;s Day in Ireland. &nbsp;Dublin goes above and beyond to celebrate the holiday. &nbsp;There are parades, music sessions, and plenty of drinks and merriment. &nbsp;I had a great night with friends! &nbsp;The weekend was made even better by the arrival of my family. &nbsp;They flew in for St. Patrick&#8217;s Day and are staying for a few days. It has been cool to be able to be the tour guide for my family and tell them about the cities and country that I have come to really love.&nbsp;&nbsp;Over Paddy&#8217;s weekend we went to Galway to see the Cliffs of Moher. It turned out to be more like the cliffs of mist because we couldn&#8217;t see anything! The weather was really poor but we were able to save the day and walk around Galway city.
