I enjoyed the trip to Paris with my religion class; below are a few photos from the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 This past weekend, I went to London with a few friends for the first time. On Saturday, we walked from the north end of the Palace of Westminster, through Hyde Park, and after to Notting Hill, a beautiful district in West London known for its open market, pubs, and galleries. That evening, we visited a few different bars and pubs in Cambridge, including the Alchemist<\/a>, specializing in the dark arts of molecular mixology<\/em>. The atmosphere was entertaining and attractive, and the eccentricity made our time there an experience. Also referred to as a concept bar, the Alchemist has an extensive hand-crafted cocktail menu that incorporates dry-ice, foam, and bubbles to each drink.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 The other local pubs we visited were more low-key but were still pleasing and enjoyable. I tried Strawberry-lime cider, which is brewed using fresh spring water (from Vimmerby, Sweden) by a company called Rekorderlig.<\/p>\n

In regards to school, I’m finished working for Planet Provence. <\/em>Although the internship period lasted eight weeks, it went by fast. It was a good experience, but I’m excited to have more free time and visit new places within and out of Aix.<\/div>\n
