My sister came and left, I’ve had essays upon essays, and the term finally came to a close. I say finally, but this semester really did fly by; three months is nothing! I’m grateful I spread my work out, because I really would have struggled otherwise. The semester isn’t over yet – we still return for exams in May.

Living in London has been a bit strange lately following the attack in Westminster. For a week or so, I was really cautious about where I went and what I did. I was getting calls and texts from home, and I really did feel concerned for my safety, especially because I was in Orlando during the Pulse shooting. London is usually a vibrant and bustling city, but it fell quiet immediately following the attack. The weird thing is, things went back to normal just as fast.

Now we’re off for all of April for Easter, which is amazing. I have the next 3-4 weeks to explore the UK a lot more and finally get out of London, starting tomorrow. I’m going to Stonehenge with one of my flatmates and Brighton on Monday. I’m also hoping to get around to Wales and Scotland at some point. More to come (hopefully on time)!

I’ve definitely missed some blogposts… Sorry about that! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind.
