Last week, I went to Brighton, Haywards Heath, Salisbury (where Stonehenge is), and Dorset. I saw a lot of the South, and the weather was absolutely perfect for it. It was sunny and warm all week (around 18-19 celsius), so we spent most of our time outdoors. We went hiking through the ruins of a 12th century castle and down the cliffs at Durdle Door. Of course, I slipped and fell multiple times, but it was quite an experience.

Now, I’m in Liverpool to get a taste of the North. I’m staying with family friends for a few days, and they took me to the seaside last night to get a view of the city skyline. It’s much colder and windier here, and I’ve come down with a cold because of it. I’m taking the day off to relax and catch up on work so I’m ready to explore more tomorrow. England is so beautiful and vast, and it’s so easy (and affordable) to get to your destination by train or bus. That’s one thing I really appreciate about the UK that I wish we had more of back home.

It’s hard to believe I’m leaving in a little over a month. Time has absolutely flown, and this time could not have been better spent.

I’m currently on Easter holiday, and I’ve finally gotten out of London and explored England.
