I like the intimacy that comes with actually writing down my thoughts, it helps me meditate on my feelings. I&#8217;m taking a bit from journal while I was in the airport on 8-27.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Leaving Dad back at security was an odd experiences. He was obviously sad that we had to separate and I felt the same, it was comforting to still be home. But I was also ready to get on with this adventure. This is the first time that I&#8217;m traveling&nbsp;without my parents, I&#8217;m lucky that Erin will be with me, so I&#8217;m feeling really mature right now.
