With the elusive holiday on the horizon we would like to take a moment to remind Olin patrons that the main floor of the library will remain open to Rollins community members with their R-card. The remainder of the building will be closed in observance until 6pm.
Combat the gender gap among Wikipedia authors and
under-representation of women artists on Wikipedia. Join us
and other museums around the world for the fifth annual
Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon!
This session, led by Dr. Kimberly Dennis, Rollins Department of
Art & Art History; Rachel Walton, Assistant Professor, Digital
Archivist & Librarian, Olin Library; and Dr. Gisela Carbonell,
Curator, CFAM, will focus on works by women artists in the
museum’s Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art. The public is
invited to focus on any woman artist who may need a page
created or updated.
No Wikipedia editing experience is
necessary: we will provide tutorials for the beginner
Wikipedian, research assistance, and reference materials.
