New Trial Databases

The Olin Library is excited to share a new selection of trial databases with the Rollins community. We invite you to explore these new resources and share your thoughts with us here. Please check back soon, as we expect to trial more products this fall!

Films On Demand is a comprehensive, curriculum-focused video subscription providing unlimited access to thousands of videos. With over 26,000 titles and counting, Films on Demand includes Oscar, Emmy, and Peabody award–winning documentaries and A-list performances spanning the arts.

RDS TableBase covers more than 90 industries and is international in scope. Thousands of tables are added annually and covers the tabular data that is available in the world’s most authoritative business publications, including premier trade and business journals, leading industry newsletters, plus a broad collection of regional, national, and international newspapers. TableBase also contains historical tabular information from statistical annuals, brokerage reports, trade association reports, and governmental reports.

LegalTrac provides indexing for more than 1,200 major law reviews, legal newspapers, specialty publications, Bar Association journals, and international legal journals, including more than 200 titles in full text. The American Association of Law Libraries not only endorses LegalTrac, its special advisory committee selects, reviews, and enhances the content of this resource. The database offers coverage of federal and state cases, laws and regulations, legal practice and taxation, as well as British Commonwealth, European Union, and international law.

Worldwide Political Science Abstracts provides abstracts and indexing of the international literature of political science and international relations, along with complementary fields, including international law and public administration/policy. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 750 core serials publications and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and working papers.

EBSCO products service issues

We are currently investigating issues regarding intermittent service downtime with all EBSCO products, and are working closely with the vendor to reach a timely solution.

If you experience any problems accessing databases powered by EBSCO, please send an email to askolinlibrary@rollins.edu with details about your issue.

Updates will follow once we know more from the vendor.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience in this matter.
