Former President Bornstein Establishes $100,000 Endowment for Archival Preservation

“I am pleased to announce that Rita Bornstein, my good friend and 13th president of Rollins College, has given $100,000 to support the digitization and preservation of archival records in Olin Library.

The President Rita Bornstein Archival Records Endowment will be used for the Rollins Archives to preserve vital born-digital materials generated by the College and to convert analog materials to digital format, including collections such as prints, photographs, VHS tapes, audio cassettes, and reel-to-reel tapes. The endowment will also launch other digital preservation initiatives recommended by the Head of Archives & Special Collections, the Digital Archivist, and the Library Director.”

– President Cornwell
