{"id":302,"date":"2016-12-09T09:06:31","date_gmt":"2016-12-09T14:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/social.rollins.edu\/wpsites\/library\/?p=302"},"modified":"2016-12-09T09:06:31","modified_gmt":"2016-12-09T14:06:31","slug":"network-outages-during-the-break","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.rollins.edu\/olin\/2016\/12\/09\/network-outages-during-the-break\/","title":{"rendered":"Network Outages During the Break"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Per Pat&#8217;s e-mail yesterday, IT will be conducting maintenance during the break, which will temporarily affect access to some library resources.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the break:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Email and the library website <\/strong>will be available from off-campus the entire time \u2013 regardless of what is happening with the network.<\/li>\n<li>If you are on-campus during the network outages, then you will not be able to <strong>access<\/strong> email or the website from your office, but they will still be functioning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>12\/22\/2016:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EZ-Proxy and this news blog<\/strong> will be down from 12 midnight-6:30am.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>entire campus network<\/strong> will be down from 10am to 3pm for upgrades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>12\/23\/2016:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IT will conduct a full disaster recovery test from 8am-12:30pm, which means the <strong>campus network will be up and down<\/strong> during this time frame. Please assume that you cannot access services during this time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you experience any problems over the break and need technical assistance, please contact the Help Desk. If the problem is not an emergency, leave a message via voice (407-628-6363) or email (<a href=\"mailto:helpdesk@rollins.edu\">helpdesk@rollins.edu<\/a>). A technician will contact you by the next day.<\/p>\n<p>If the problem is an emergency, please call the Help Desk (407-628-6363) and follow the prompts to report an emergency.
