          Artist Statement

My work explores the occult, hermeticism, psychodynamics, narrative and fantasy. Through a creative process that is idiosyncratic, I am guided by gnosis and the synergy between intuition, improvisation and spontaneity to produce works in collage, drawing and painting.

Collage in particular is a medium where I am able to reinterpret, repurpose and reuse images and books that would otherwise be disposed of in an unsustainable manner. The use of these found materials from my local community further push the sense of interrelation, creating a dialogue between local and global communities bringing awareness of connectedness beyond perceived boundaries.
